Things You Should Know Before Your Ultrasound
All procedures performed in our clinic are radiation-free and cause no pain to the patient.It is important to come prepared according to the type of examination to obtain accurate results.
- A 6-8 hour fasting period is required for an upper abdominal ultrasound.
- For lower abdominal and pelvic ultrasound, your bladder must be full.
- Please bring your previous test results with you to your pregnancy checkups.
- No prior preparation is required for a breast ultrasound.
- Please wear clothing that leaves your neck area exposed before your thyroid examination.
